Here’s an idea on how to make a beautiful, elegant, and simple bouquet that has your own personal touch for your special day.
supplies
roses
tulips
burlap garland (I got at Michaels but you should be able to get at any craft/supply store.)
jute ribbon (you usually can get at any fabric store. I got mine at Sequoia Floral)
letters (You can get at any craft/supply store. I found mine at Michaels)
directions
First strip the roses of their thorns and leafs, and gather together into a nice bouquet. Add the tulips evenly around the diameter of the bouquet placing slightly lower than the roses. Next, tie the bouquet with a thin string, or ribbon, so it will be easier to handle. Cut about an 8-inch strip of the burlap garland and fold in half. Simply wrap around the bouquet folding the last 1-inch section over into a nice crease and hot glue to the wrapped section. Next, do the same with the jute ribbon. Wrap around about two times so you have a nice tight diameter, then fold the last 1-inch section over into a nice crease and hot glue to the wrapped section. Lastly, hot glue your “future to be” initial to the center section of the ribbon and cut the ends of the bouquet so you have a clean cut on the bottom. There you have your inexpensive, beautiful, elegant, and simple bouquet!
